The
essence of “MAGIC” is everywhere at The Magic Pan Restaurant and
Catering Company. Not only are the culinary talents of Annette Lawrence
a magical experience that your palettes will not soon forget, but you
will also feel the “magic” once you pass through the gate of The
Marketplace at Placita Santa Fe, where the Magic Pan is located. The
lush outdoor patio, cooled in the summertime by a state of the art
misting system and heated in the wintertime by several propane heaters,
blends into the historic hacienda setting. The interior décor includes
southwestern antiques, jewelry and gifts. Dining tables are nestled
between potted plants full of exotic flowers in the patio, and inside
tables are surrounded by original works of art by Candy Mayer, Glenna
Price, Mark Driscoll, and Miguel Varela.
Original works of art are also created inside the kitchen. You may
enjoy a Frutti de Mare, which is delicately and superbly prepared and
served with a white wine sauce, shrimp, clams, and mussels, and artfully
garnished with orchids; or, a seared peppercorn crusted sashimi ahi tuna
with infused herb oils, also accompanied with saffron and fava bean
risotto and garden fresh vegetables, garnished with lemon wedges and
edible flowers. Other dinner items may include New Zealand rack of
lamb, or Thai style chicken skewers.

Make sure you always leave room for our
scrumptious desserts! All desserts are made in house, and sampling
either a macadamia nut crust keylime pie, cajeta crepes, or a four
layered Kahlua brownie, will leave you craving for more. These are just
a few of the delectable items offered for dinner on either Thursday,
Friday or Saturday evenings. Live music every night, Dan Lambert on
Thursdays, Julio Ortiz on Fridays and Mike Minjares on Saturdays, only
adds to the wonderful ambience of the restaurant.
